about the slide show

well it's still mornin i couldn't go to back to sleep after wakin' this morn at 4:30am no problem i'll just get up and get some things done today anyways, i was reading over my comments some of you made and you wanted to know about the slide show should i figure it out so here it goes i hope i can detail this correctly step by step ok first i use Picasa Web Albums i tried Photobucket and couldn't get it to work both of these options are available once you pull up the configuration for a slide show there are a couple other options as well so first, make sure your photos in Picasa are "public" initially i didn't have them for public viewing they automatically went into "unlisted" if you need instructions on how to do this on that web page, let me know and i will give you directions...now, if you haven't already found the "Slideshow" gadget, go to "Add a Gadget" on the CUSTOMIZE page there a screen will pop up and just scroll down til you get to the slideshow option ok once the slide show is added, it'll pop up a screen as well there you get to choose your web page and "keyword" or "album" i chose "album" then add your Username now note the username is the entire email address of what you use for blog or google account i thought it was just the screenname once you put in your email address, then it will give you a list of your albums select your album then you will see your photos load right in front of you as a slideshow once it's there, then "SAVE" at the bottom of the page and behold, your slideshow is on your blog! it's not a big slideshow, but i like it ...and so there you have it if this doesn't work, let me know i may have missed a step somewhere i found the directions on how to do all this or tidbits of info at a time and figured it out but this should work good luck with your slideshow...now, i'm going to get caught up on your journals don't know how yet to get alerts as to when you post or when i get comments so i check each day for both, just don't have time always to read them all cya soon....
