my road trip today...
ultimate destination...
worth the drive. a great day of R & R. this is a small lake, but pleasantly nice. we sat for lunch. strolled around the lake..and Rio the dog played a little in the water. took photos to & from (which i will post soon). we chatted about other road trips. we could be road buddies. maybe a road trip a month anywhere in New Mexico. many places i have yet to see. next trip in 2 weeks, back to Chaco Canyon and she's going to show me where to hike up where i can get an airal view of the ruins. look forward to that.....nice day today!

Beautiful countryside here. I could go for some R& R like that! I've never been to NM, nor the Grand Canyon... would love to go west one year, just take off several months and drive west. I settle for the quietness I find in the mountains of NC, but one day would love to travel west. Before I become unable to walk on my own! Take care, K! bea
