in loving memory

I take a moment in memory of Suzanne.....I went to the park today to breathe in the fresh air and nature. often times I run into a postal co-worker taking her lunch, and I did again today. she immediately asked if I had heard about Suzanne another co-worker. she told me Suzanne had died only 2 nights ago. I was in shock...and still am. Suzanne was only 46 yrs old. apparently she learned she had kidney cancer and it had spread to her lungs and brain. not sure when she learned of this exactly, but i'm sure it was in the past few months. I worked with Suzanne. actually she was my supervisor before I left the p.o. she was on my case daily but I didn't let it interfere with my friendship with her. don't know how i did that, but i did. anyone else i might be still carrying a grudge. although Suzanne & I were at odds often about the job, we still talked like friends. guess there was something about her that I just couldn't hold anything against her. I can't believe she's gone. I haven't seen much of my postal co-workers since retiring but I stay in touch when I can. I just hope I get the info on her memorial before it happens. this will take awhile to sink in. Bless Suzanne and her famiily at this time. my deepest sympathies go out to them....
