strawberry flower...

I don't know the official name of this flower, but I'm calling it 'strawberry'. for sum reason the color reminds me of the fruit......in the meantime, this morn I woke to the weather report. it's going to be cool enough this week that I'm headed out camping. I've got to go!!!! it'll just be one overnighter, but it'll be nice to be away for a tidbit. I'm all but packed already and will finish that task in a couple days. I'm anxiously lookin' forward to the adventure. a night out in the wild! heaven in my opinion. sum may think heaven is not of this world, but I know heaven is right here. just look at the beauty around you.....

summer breeze...

today was a much better day. a lot quieter today @ work. the excitement of the day was an alarm going off. just a door open and the wind blew setting the alarm off. nothing exciting really. much nicer day that way. I like it that way. there's also been a nice cool wind blowing today. summer breeze. I didn't even need the air conditioning. so it's suppose to be cooler like this for a few days, then hot again toward the end of the week. one of these days it's got to cool off long enough so I can make that camping trip I planned. anxious to get out there. for the next few days while it is cooler, I'll go hiking just to be out in nature for awhile. that will be a nice change. otherwise, I'm just doing sum fun reading. taking it easy and staying cool. Life is sweet today....have a great weekend!

wacky day!

yep you're seeing right. a banana in a tree. fits perfectly for my wacky day @ work today. today seemed like one of those days that everyone was off key. the whole day was out of wack...either that or this is a normal Friday work day. i'll know in time. today was the day everyone under the sun parked on the sidewalks. every corner i turned, there sat another car blocking the sidewalk and it's my duty to get them moved. then a few other things happened as well as the day moved along. i had a 'short' lunch and there was never a dull moment. i barely got all my duties done for the day, but they were completed. for the past couple months i've had strong urges for a cigarette. i gave that up totally 2yrs ago, but the urges are back. so to reduce the urge and to wind down from the day, i came home to have a cold one...and did i.....now i sit all chilled out wondering what to do next. laundry needs to be folded, but will see....think i'll play in photoshop-sounds more like fun at least. it's still a good day. Life is Good! now I know I'll have WACKY days in lieu of stressful days....
