went lookin' 4 hawks to photograph today. instead I find myself almost literally steppin on this baby rattler. if I hadn't been looking down while walkin, I wood have. apparently it was asleep or so thats what I determined when I was on top of it and it didn't knot move an inch......

anyhow...have yet to get rolling on photos. getting the Jeep ready for the summer and after that I'm on my road trips for more photo expeditions. also getting ready for my trip to Kentucky 2 see the kids & grandkids. haven't won the lottery yet, so my budget is tight until I get back from KY. but photos abound near me..I just need to find them. so thanks 4 your patience until I'm over flowing again with photos....

in the meantime, last week I entered an art contest @ the VA with 2 of my photos. one 4 black & white, one in color. the old truck I posted recently was the b&w. one of the butterflies posted recently was my color. well yesterday I learned the results. I got 3rd place in each category for each photo. I'm excited! it was my 1st ever contest I entered. doing so well, I'll enter more contests when possible. it was a great day!!

so this is a repost.....I'm lookin' @ this one for possibly entering it into and Arts & Craft show @ the VA. the next few entries I'll be lookin' @ old photos in order to select one or two for the contest...should I do it....will let you know. it'd be my first show and it's free except for the cost to print, matte and frame the photo....which I may knot have the dough to actually do it this time. it's all good. there are plenty of shows to enter. now is a good time to explore photos for future shows....

I have had it for over 20yrs. in times past in was in my living room and wishin' it still was. but at the moment the snow holds on. much more snow last night and more to come today & tomorrow. if the roads clear, I'll head to the mountains for more snow scenery. enjoying it right now in my yard.....

I want to look at them anyways because I want to start making scrapbooks of sum of them. but hopefully soon, I'll get another road trip in. there may be a glitch in the finances next payday, so I'm waiting for that day to see. in the meantime, I'll see if there's someplace close where I don't have to go as far or maybe a sunset that's spectacular. there's photos everywhere, I just need to find them.....catch ya again soon
